just go with it

I had heard this movie was bad. I heard it was crude and sloppy and not at all funny. then I watched it, and I can safely say that that is false. Don't get me wrong, this isn't the best Adam Sandler movie ever, in fact it's probably not even in the top ten, but still, very enjoyable. you have got to love the funny Adam Sandler, the beautiful Jennifer Aniston, and the very lovable kids (I don't know their names). the plot of the movie is somewhat predictable, but aren't all Romantic Comedies? I thought this movie was extreamly enjoyable except for one part, or should I say one person.
I hated the cousin. he was annoying, obnoxious, crude, and not funny. that's how the writers were trying to portray him, I'm sure, but Sandler's character was supposed to be annoying, obnoxious, and crude, but you still liked him. he was interesting and funny. the cousin was not anything but stupid.
over all though, a good movie, not a great movie, but enjoyable.
my grade: 80
rated: PG-13 for some language and sexual jokes

Made of Honor (2007)

let me get something clear here. I love romantic comedies, and I love Patrick Dempsey. so Made of Honor was sort of a must see for me. the one thing I was thinking through out the entire movie was, “I love Patrick Dempsey!”…I was thinking that that is, until the end. we all know what’s going to happen Hannah (Michelle Monaghan) is going to end up with Tom (Patrick Dempsey). we all see it coming, so why WHY WHY would they have to have the “love enlighten” scene be at the wedding? Why? all that does is make Tom and Hannah look like the bad guys instead of the victims.
I may love Patrick Dempsey, but I don’t love him enough for him to act like a total jerk to a guy that’s going to make the biggest decision of his life and me just brush it off as a romantic comedy action! Come on!
I would have enjoyed this movie much, much more if they would have had the profession of love before the wedding, its that simple. Even the night before the wedding would have been better. if you were to switch the roles around so that Patrick Dempsey was the one getting dumped at the wedding, no way would that be considered a nice girl. Nope. nope. nope.
what would have also made the movie better is if the Scottish guy that Hannah was going to marry had some fault to him. maybe he could have been a control freak, or had an anger problem, or was a compulsive liar, or anything. But instead Hannah leaves the nice boy to go to the bad boy, I haven’t heard that before. But over all, pretty basic rom com. nothing too special, but it did have Patrick Dempsey in it.
My rating: 79 because Patrick Dempsey could have done better at the profession of love
The rating: PG-13 for some language and a little of sexual content (Actually it wasn’t that bad, in comparison to something like Crazy Stupid Love, this movie should be like PG, not PG-13)
Not a must see.
